Pooz Lungworm testing kit

This lungworm screening test is suitable for all animal species except birds. While the collection kits are standardized for all animals, the testing process varies depending on the species. Our laboratory team will adjust the screening accordingly upon receiving your sample.

Lungworm is widespread across the UK and can pose a serious health risk if left untreated. If lungworm is detected, we will identify the specific species present, allowing for targeted and appropriate treatment.

To complete this test, you will need to collect the first faecal sample of the day for three consecutive days. Each kit includes detailed instructions, and we strongly recommend following them carefully to ensure accurate results.
